The Dillon Beavers always field strong tennis teams, and this year is no different. Even with many new faces on the girls squad, they still managed to sneak by the Panthers 4-3. A few close matches, including a relentless match tiebreak win from Delaney Calhoun, her first varsity win at #4 singles, and a close match all the way but a loss for Brooke Gilbertson and Lilly Reddick against a very strong Dillon doubles pair.
Another notable girls match was our exhibition doubles match from Audrey Bernall and Jennifer Martinez, who won their pro set 8-4 in strong fashion, even while it was their first organized match! They were all smiles and rushing the net the entire time and made us proud.
The boys side in Dillon retained many of their strong boys and have been training lots to replace those who graduated. Their prowess swept our young squad, but not without one solid showing from our emerging #1 Doubles pair of Javan Chisholm and Logan McCauley.
