Remembering Marcia Anderson, for without her, Panther Tennis would still be a dream.

At the end of 2019, we lost an important member of our community. Marcia Anderson will be remembered for many contributions to the Gallatin Valley, and closest to us is, of course, the donation of the tennis courts to Belgrade and the gift to the Belgrade High School to begin its tennis program.

Marcia was always interested and watching our program grow from afar, and called to wish us well after our runner-up finish at the 2018 A State Touranment.

I would like to thank her personally for creating this opportunity for me to achieve one of my lifelong dreams of coaching at the high school level, and being a stalwart supporter of our program. We will never forget the gifts she provided for us and will do all we can to honor her memory each time we step onto the court.

Dorothy Filson of the Belgrade Tennis Association also wrote a remembrance on the BTA blog.
